A7. Food Involution
Introduction

In 2022, Yilan County Environmental Education Center launched a brand-new environmental education course, Food Involution, based on the sustainable development goals (SGDs) promoted by the United Nation. It aims to provide interactive experience of educational entertainment to help students and visitors reflect what they shall eat in the daily life to achieve “sustainability” and understand the selection of food is greatly related to the topics of food safety, energy saving and carbon reduction, environmental ecology, food culture, wholesome nutrition, circular economy, organic agriculture, friendly fishing method, species conservation, hunger, and leftover. We will take you to re-discover food, food material, food farmers, food safety, food education, and food self-sufficiency ratio; from farm to table, to implement the scenario of sustainability in the daily life.
